One start after combining with two other relievers on the franchise's first no-hitter since 1996, Chukar starter Brian Peacock only lasted two innings, and Idaho Falls lost 9-2 to the Helena Brewers Sunday afternoon at Melaleuca Field. The final pitcher in for the Chukars was Edwin Carl, who gave up three earned runs and four total runs in two innings. While the staff allowed nine runs, they also combined for 15 strikeouts.

The Chukars only runs came in the in the third inning when Reggie Taylor, Juan Polonia, Justin Trapp, and Yowill Espinal hit four-straight singles to score two. Those hits were the only hits of the entire game for the Chukars, as I.F. was outhit 12-4 in the loss. A trio of pitchers worked a solid game for Helena, led by Matt Miller, who now leads the Pioneer League with seven wins.

The Chukars and Brewers finish the series Monday night. Game time at Melaleuca Field is scheduled for 7:15.
