New England Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington will undergo groin surgery on Friday, according to multiple reports.

Arrington, 27, first hurt his groin in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Recovery time is expected to be about six weeks.

Throughout the season, Arrington remained on the injury report as questionable, but he played through the injury and never missed a game.

Arrington had 62 tackles, two sacks and an interception last season.
