Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice, who was schedule to be arraigned Monday, had his court date pushed back to Thursday because of the judge's busy docket, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Rice was initially charged with third-degree aggravated assault after allegedly knocking his fiancee unconscious at an Atlantic City casino in February. The charge was upgraded to felony assault after he was indicted by a grand jury in March.

If convicted, Rice could face three to five years in prison.
