The Bears took a 21-7 lead into halftime after Donnelly threw touchdown passes to Andrew Marks and Tellef Lundevall, and extended the lead when William Twyman returned a fumble on the second-half kickoff for a 23-yard score.
Evans' 43-yard touchdown catch pushed Brown's lead to 35-14 late in the third quarter, but Cornell rallied on Mathews' back-to-back touchdown passes to Gellatly. Brown's Andrew Coke and Mathews traded rushing touchdowns, but the Brown defense forced a fumble in the final minutes to seal the win.
