- ...Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10 am this morning to 8 am PST Monday above 3000 feet... The National Weather Service in Missoula has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and slick roads above 3000 feet... which is in effect from 10 am this morning to 8 am PST Monday.
- Impacts/timing: light to moderate snow will develop late this morning and persist into Monday morning, making roads snow covered and slick at times, especially over mountain passes. Valleys below 3000 feet are primarily expected to see rain, although a brief period of snow is possible this morning.
- Snow accumulations: 3 to 6 inches over Lolo Pass and in the higher terrain. 1 to 3 inches for valleys down to 3000 feet and over Greer grade. Little to no accumulation below 3000 feet.
- Locations impacted include...Highway 11 Pierce to Headquarters...Pierce...Dixie...Elk City...Highway 12 Lowell to Lolo Pass Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
