Freeze Watch issued for Snake River Plain

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Freeze Watch from Sunday night and Monday morning. 

A Freeze Watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible.

These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.

Monday morning low temperatures of 28 to 32 degrees. Any breaks in cloud cover could send temperatures lower.

* IMPACTS...Cloud cover and wind should preclude frost from

  developing, but freeze sensitive plants like tomatoes and some

  spices could be at risk.


* LOCATION...The Freeze Watch includes all of the Upper and Lower

  Snake Plain and the Eastern Magic Valley.
