IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - The 116th Engineer Battalion is having its 50 year reunion Friday and Saturday night at the Elks Lodge in Idaho Falls.
The battalion was activated for the Vietnam War. They served for a year in Vietnam from September 1968 to September 1969.
About 150 veterans plan on attending and bringing their family make's it about 325 people coming to the dinner.
Saturday at 10 a.m., the battalion will head to Freeman Park and gather around the Vietnam Memorial to get reacquainted with other veterans.
