IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - We are approaching near the middle of the year and there are probably a few of us that haven't been doing to well on keeping up with our fitness resolutions.
The Idaho Falls Aquatic Center is looking to help you keep your fitness goals.
They realized that one struggle of working out was lack of motivation.
They also realized that people who work out together stay fit together.
So they put together a program called get fit together.
Nikolas Hamelin Head Lifeguard at the Aquatic Center said, "Swimming alone is never fun. so you get somebody who is part of the program to come in and swim with you. Getting people involved in this program really brings the community together and really allows people to find different ways they can get out and get involved. This helps get those goals of being healthy, weight loss, eating better, and feeling better.
They really hope that this program will help people reach their goals.
To help motivate they will do a weekly drawing for prizes to everybody that turns in their tracking sheet.
The program has already started but you can still register and join.
